Assignments do not appear in Student view

I published several assignments in a group that are visible in the Instructor view but that do NOT appear when I switch to Student view. This is what is visible in the Instructor view:

When I switch to Student view, the entire group disappears.

Any ideas?

Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!

A few things to consider when fixing this problem are the following:

1) Is the module itself containing these assignments published?

2) Are the assignments only available to specific students? (test student doesn't have access to these assignments).

3) Are the assignments only available to specific course sections that for some reason the test student isn't enrolled in? (it should be enrolled in all by default).

If you have the module published for all students, as well as the assignments within, and it still isn't appearing, I'd recommend reaching out to Canvas support by using the 'Help' link via your global navigation bar, then clicking Report a Problem and filling out the form, it doesn't take too long. 

I have experienced this issue myself not too long ago, actually. The module took about 5 minutes to appear for all students even though I published it for everyone prior to that time.

Students do not have the same view of the Assignments page as Instructors do. They do not see the Assignments group weight on the Assignments page, but they do see the subtotals when they review their grades for the class.
