Hello,
I am not seeing the option for add a course when in my dashboard on canvas. I previously was an interim substitute and then a support facilitator at a previous school before transferring to my current school location. I am not sure if this impacted my current settings on canvas.
Please let me know how to fix this situation.
Thank you

The ability for Teachers, Students, and Users with no enrollments to create courses in Canvas is controlled by your school's Canvas administrator. Many schools do not let these roles create new course shells on their own because that task is usually automated in some way via the school's SIS (Student Information System) that is connected to Canvas. I would highly suggest that you reach out to your school's Canvas admin and have a conversation about getting one or more course shells created for you. They should be able to help you with this. Good luck!
