Hi! I am restructuring a course to make quizzes worth fewer points. There are 11 quizzes of 10 questions each in the course. Originally, each question was worth one point, so each quiz was worth 10 points. I'd like to make all the questions worth 0.5 points so each quiz is worth 5 points in total.
Besides going through each question individually and changing the point allocation, is there a way to change them for all the quizzes in bulk? I'd rather avoid going through each of the 110 questions and changing questions individually if possible (but can if necessary).
Thanks!

Thank you @chriscas for getting back to @KatherineCraig. I was watching football this afternoon. Your response is was basically what I was going to say.
In my opinion, the easiest thing to do since the questions are currently in a Classic Quiz, is to move all of the quiz questions into a question group.
Two things to consider:
I do not believe there is a specific guide for this but the best one to refer to is probably How do I create a quiz with a question group to randomize quiz questions? - Instructure Community - ... and you can rest of the guides in the "Quizzes" section of the Instructor Guide.

Hi @dbrace - They are Classic Quizzes, but I can convert them if needed.
Hi @KatherineCraig,
If you convert the quizzes to New Quizzes, you'll be able to set the total quiz points independently of the quiz questions, making the task of changing total points much easier. For example, you could have a quiz with 10 1-point questions, but have it count for only 5 points in the course (Canvas calculates a percentage score based on the question points then scales it according to the total quiz points). The points the quiz counts for in the course are set in the quiz details area, which the question points are in the build area. I hope this makes sense.
If you want to stay with classic quizzes, I don't know of a way to adjust the points without editing each individual question (unless you're randomly drawing from an item bank, which might have one points option per quiz).

Thanks! The professor I work for didn't like the New Quizzes, so it looks like this is the best option for me. Cheers!
It is absolutely absurd to not be able to set the value of questions in a quiz by bulk - question type, etc. This is BASIC functionality for ANY LMS that Canvas has willfully neglected and ignored instructor literally begging for, for YEARS! It highlights how Instructure does not actually care or focus on customer (instructor) needs.
