Can I move a rubric to another course?

I created a rubric in one course but would like to use it in another course.  Can you copy rubrics from one course to another?

Answering myself here: yes you can. Once a rubric is created it is available for any of your courses/

You can import rubrics from one course to another using the course import tool in Canvas.  You'll want to use the option to select specific content rather than selecting an entire course to import.  Log in to the course where you want to import the rubric(s) into.  Then, use this Guide to choose your course where the rubric(s) currently exist(s).  You'll be able to select whichever rubric(s) you want to import into your course.

Once you do this, you can then attach the rubric(s) to your assignment(s).

That is true if you are using the "Find Rubric" function on an assignment to attach a rubric.  However, if you click on the "Rubrics" course navigation button on the left side of your course, you will only see the rubrics that are a part of the course you are currently logged into.
