Canvas Blank

Hey I have been trying to get on canvas to do some of my online classwork but everytime i refresh the page its completely blank except for the side buttons but when i click on those it also loads blank. Is this just an issue i am having or is the site down? if so when will it be back up or what can i do to fix this?

I have seen several postings from students this week with similar issues as yours.  The things I am recommending are the following:

• Check to make sure you are using an up-to-date web browser.  I typically recommend either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.  What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?
• Try clearing your browser history/cache files.  Once you do that, close your browser, then re-start it.  Sign in to Canvas to see if anything has changed.

  • How do I clear my browser cache on a PC?
• Reach out to Sierra College's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department ... or your school's local Canvas administrator.  I searched Sierra's website, and I found the following page which may have some good contact info for you: Article Search (sierracollege.edu).
• Contact the Canvas Support Desk folks...as they may have some ideas, too.
