Canvas Plagiarism Framework does not work in my course

When Turnitin is enabled in Canvas, the Plagiarism Review option should typically appear when creating an assignment (see this example https://teaching.pitt.edu/resources/how-to-use-the-turnitin-plagiarism-framework-in-canvas/). However, for some reason, this option is not visible in my course, even though I can create a Turnitin assignment using Turnitin alone.

As a Canvas administrator in our institute, I have explored various solutions, including reviewing all relevant posts and troubleshooting common issues, but the problem persists. I would appreciate any insights or assistance. Thank you!

Hi @saturn,

To expant a bit on what @mzimmerman is asking, there are multiple different ways to integrate Turnitin with Canvas.  If you can create a direct Turnitin assifgnment, that likely means you have the LTI 1.3 integration enabled.  That is different from the Plagairism Framewrok integration.  I believe you can have both installed together, but you may want to verify that with your Turnitin rep before attempting to change/install anything in Canvas so you don't end up with any unintended consequences.
