I am not familiar with an "Auditor" role within Canvas. This almost sounds like a custom role that was created by your school's Canvas administrator(s). You can see the default roles that come "out of the box" with Canvas by visiting this link:

I would recommend reaching out to your school's Canvas administrator or someone from your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department to have a conversation about this role that you might need.
