Canvas Student Chat/Forum Integration?

We are looking to create a space for student cohorts to communicate throughout their journey.  I have used dedicated Canvas rooms for discussion boards but that gets a bit clunky with a few hundred students in it.  Does anyone have any other recommendations?  

I see Study Table which looks like an external app and wanted to see if anyone would mind reaching out to me with their experience with that platform or any others.

Hello @mbra2, 

I can't speak to having Study Table experience. However, there is a partner listing page for "Discussions/Chat" that might be helpful to you. All of those tools integrate seamlessly with Canvas!
