Canvas and Turnitin Reports
There was a problem with Turnitin Reports a while back and I asked a question which wasn't answered.
Could you provide the most up-to-date guidance on Turnitin reports please?
Regards, Kerrie.

Hi @330467,
The Turnitin report visibility should follow whatever you setup as part of each assignment. Immediately would be immediately upon generation of the report from Turnitn (which could take a few minutes depending on the length of the submission). I haven't seen any behavior to the contrary with our Turnitin setup in years. We use the new plagiarism framework integration, so perhaps there is/was an issue with the LTI integration of which I'm not aware. @dhulsey, I know you have a lot of Turnitin experience, have you heard of any issues where reports wouldn't be available when they should be?

@330467 , @chriscas and @Chris_Hofer have given you good feedback. Each Turnitin assignment allows the instructor to configure when reports are generated and when or even if a student has access to the report. The behavior of each assignment will follow the settings. Are you a teacher or student?

Hi there, Thank you for the quick answer, much appreciated. Am I also right to presume students will see the report, if set to immediately, even if grades haven't been released.
Thank you.

@330467 I am not sure since I always release grades immediately as I grade. You might look over a student's shoulder to determine this one. Although, if you are wanting students to get help with citing and originality as they write, you might consider looking at Turnitin's Draft Coach product. We purchased this product recently and have high hopes it will help students as they write.

Hi there,
Thanks everyone for your help. I have looked at the settings and there is an option 'after assignment is graded' as well as immediately, so I think this answers the question.
Thanks again, Kerrie.
