Canvas colors

When I go to the browser to enter a hex code to change the colors it works. But when I go into the app all the colors are way darker then what I entered. Why is this happening? I enter bright colors and it works but not in the app.

Hi @TeagenWhite,

Just for clarity, do you mean you're trying to change the colors of the course cards on the Canvas dashboard?  Once you change the color, you're seeing it display differently on the web tan it does on the Canvas app for your phone?

If the above is correct, my first suggestion would be to make sure the Canvas app is up to date. The second would be to ensure you're using "light mode" and not "dark mode" in the app, as I do believe Dark mode may now be adjusting colors in come cases to provide better contrast between a dark background and some colors.  Finally, you could try uninstalling the Canvas app completely, and the redownloading it and logging back in.  Occasionally there are times where something just gets "stuck" and a full reinstall gets everything back to normal again.
