Canvas iOS app shows Zero alerts for two children.

Can someone explain why I cannot get any alerts or notifications? I receive email messages, but that it is it. I would like to get push notifications, but it is strange that I don't even see alerts.

Hi @Michael_Spudic -

When you open Canvas Parent, do you see alerts listed on the bottom of the screen? There should be a counter in the same tab as the bell.

Notifications should be active, but those are fairly limited, actually. I would love to see Observers have the option to make alerts into push notifications. Other Community members do as well. Good morning! I’m using my teacher account…

In both of my children’s accounts, there are no alerts.  That seems strange, this far into the year.

Yes, you should be seeing alerts. Have you customized them for each student?
How do I set alerts for a student in the Canvas Parent app on my Android device?

If you have those active, there is definitely something more going on. I'll do my best to help troubleshoot.
