In the Canvas Parent app, you can set alerts and receive notifications about your linked students' course activity and progress. You can view your alerts on the Alerts page.
Open User Menu
In the Dashboard, tap the Menu icon.
Open Manage Students
Tap the Manage Students link.
Open Student Alert Page
Tap the name of a student.
Set Alerts
You can enable or disable missing assignment, course announcement, and institution announcement alerts. To manage a toggle alert, tap the alert toggle button [1].
You can also receive course and assignment grade alerts. To manage grade alerts, tap the grade criteria link [2].
Set Grade Percentage Criteria
Enter a number in the Percentage field [1]. Then tap the Save link [2].
Note: You can disable a grade percentage alert by re-opening the alert and tapping the Never link [3].
