Canvas not accepting Complete/Success SCORM flags

Hello, Hivemind!

We're trying to set up a simple SCORM course where upon completion it triggers a completion certificate. After working with our authoring tool's tech support and running our course through SCORM Cloud, we were finally able to get Canvas to recognize our SCORM's completion data. However, it required us to put a quiz into our course which is just not necessary for the type of content. Canvas seems to completely ignore the Complete and Success SCORM flags. See my attached SCORM Cloud screenshot to see what I'm talking about.

Is there a way to have Canvas accept a Complete or Success SCORM flag instead of requiring a Score?

I think the short answer here is no. Canvas is pretty limited in the usability with SCORM.
