Choose File Button Not Working

I have used Canvas for years, but suddenly the choose file button isn't bringing up the box for me to choose my file. I've tried on Chrome and Safari. The files are supported and not too large. When I click the choose file button, nothing happens. This just started yesterday and I got it to work once but now it's doing it again. What the heckin dog?

Can you share more information about the issue?  What page or activity are you accessing when the error occurs?  Is this for an assignment, or for the Files page?

Can you drag and drop the file to the files page?

You might try restarting your computer, updating your web browser, or clearing your browser's cache.  I suggest you try these three things one after the other, not at once.

@TWARREN1 Since you mention that you have tried on Safari, I know you are using a Mac.  It is a issue that arises on Mac computers occasionally where they are unable to open a new Finder window.  To resolve this, you need to reboot your computer.  After a reboot, you should be able to select your file like normal.
