Daily Survey - data from a repeated quiz across time for same student

I work in special education and with students who display different behaviors. One of my goals is to have them self-monitor their performance as part of their data collection. How can I assign the same survey/quiz every day and then view that data over time to see trends. I have been duplicating/re-creating the survey, but it makes data analysis tedious. And its not the quickest process either to duplicate since there was the whole re-writing over themselves issue. I have found the QTI file solution and hope this makes it more reliable, but not sure about time consuming.

Off the top of my head, these are the two ideas I have for helping with this:

1. Use New Quizzes instead of Classic Quizzes -- New Quizzes will easily allow you to duplicate a Quiz.

2. Use Outcomes with each of the Quiz Questions -- this will populate the Mastery Gradebook (versus the Traditional Gradebook)
