Designers - Create a discussion as instructor or without instructor name/profile picture?

Since it's very typical for course/instructional designers to develop course content in Canvas, how do you get around your name/profile showing on the discussion prompt? This is assuming the instructor doesn't want students to know that a support person created the discussion for them.
Ideally, I'd like one of the instructors (we have more than one per course) names/pictures to appear. An alternative would be for the discussion prompt to be created without a name/profile picture displayed.
The only way I've heard is to create the discussion in a different course like a sandbox, then copy it into the active course. This is OK but more steps than we like.
It would be great to have an option for name/profile picture when a discussion prompt is created in a course without making it an anonymous discussion for students.
