When in DocViewer, the annotation tool bar is not visible. Everything else is visible.

Thanks for posting this in the Canvas Community. 

I was able to take a look at your question and I would love to try and assist! 

I understand that you are not seeing the annotations tools in Speedgrader. The annotation tools in Speedgrader are only available for assignments that are using the File Upload option in the submission type area of the assignment settings. If you have the option for text entry submission, the annotation tools will not be usable in Speedgrader for students who used the text entry option. Students will need to upload a file in order for you to use those annotation tools on their submissions.
