Does New Quizzes not sync learning outcomes to the student gradebook?

Hi,

I’m using New Quizzes in Canvas and have linked questions to specific learning outcomes. I can see the mastery status in the Learning Mastery Gradebook as a teacher, but it seems that students cannot access their mastery status.

Is this a limitation of New Quizzes? If not, how can I enable students to view their progress on learning outcomes?

Hi @ronny_steen,

There are two feature options aound learning mastery gradebook (outcomes) views.  Since you can see things as the teacher, that indicites that the Learning Mastery Gradebook feature option is enabled for your course.  If your students don't see anything, that probably means the separate Student learning Mastery Gradebook feature is turned off.  You may be able to enable that feature on your own, but if you don't see it or have permission you may need ot ask your school/institution Canvas admin to enable the feature.
