Downloading student quiz responses

We use the quiz feature for students to answer a series of Written Questions. I would like to download and save the student responses on their academic file. I can work out how to download their assignment submissions but is there a way to do this for quizzes?

Are you using New Quizzes or Classic Quizzes? I found this reply from a long time ago, but I'm seeing comments that it does not work in New Quizzes.

Having a standardised version of this for ALL assessment types would be fantastic, both for the whole cohort/section & for individual students.

Also being able to select the assessments that you want to download the responses from (like what you do when you export a number of assessments from a course).

As The previous responder to you question said, I think that this would be your best bet to doing that. There might be an idea in the works as well, but I am not quite sure.
