Embedded Published Google Slides

I have used/reused embedded Google Slides presentations for the last 4 years on Canvas. This year, the presentation formatting does not match the original. The text overlaps the slide, causing information to be missing. Some of my presentations are designed to be interactive to which students can "CLICK" to reveal answers but they are now appearing much higher, covering up other information on the slide. I have tired reformatting my original slides and have even tried to regenerate the embed code but nothing seems to fix it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

One thing you can try is adjusting the width and height in the embed code. Enlarging the embed frame window might help the formatting. When you add the embed code for the slides, look for the width and height and play around with making them larger (try to keep the same ratio). That may help.

Hi @Schriverb87,

If @RachelSalmon's suggestion doesn't work, it would seem that this is more of a google issue since the incorrect content in the iframe is coming from them and is out of Canvas' control.  I haven't encountered this issue from any of the faculty at my institution recently (and we are a Google campus), so it's also possible there is something specific in your presentation that is no longer supported in slides.  Unfortunately, it's hard to get support for Google products like slides, but if your school/institution has an IT help desk, I'd suggest asking if they have anyone who could help with this.
