Embedded videos and storage space

Does embedding videos take up storage space in canvas? Or are they loaded from a third party website. Would including a lot of embedded videos in my canvas course make the course too large to import or export?

Embedded videos will not make your course large, they are loaded from the host/source site.

Hi @JakeKealhofer,

As said by @AMye1, since the videos are hosted/stored on an external resource (such as YouTube or Vimeo or, if subscribed to, Canvas Studio) the videos will not use any additional storage space (quota) for either your Canvas user account or Canvas course.
