Embedding a PDF into your course

If I don't have a Google Drive, is there a way of finding the embed code of a PDF from a Sharepoint site? I have the steps below if you're using Google Drive, but wondering if similar steps could be used where files are stored on a Sharepoint site? #doc embed

  1. Upload the pdf file to Google Drive.
  2. Change the "Share" properties to "Anyone with the link can View".
  3. On Google Drive, open the pdf file.
  4. Click the settings in the upper right corner (the three vertical dots).

  1. From the dropdown menu, select "Open in a new window".

  1. In this new window, click the settings in the upper right corner (the three vertical dots).
  2. From the dropdown menu, select "Embed item".

  1. Highlight and copy the embed code.

  1. Go to the Canvas page where the pdf file will be embedded.
  2. Edit the page, and then click the HTML Editor link to edit the page's html code.
  3. Paste the embed code.
  4. Change the width and height to a size that allows the user to see the entire page.
    For example: width="1200" height="1000"
