Enable discusssion replies

One of my students discovered that the "Reply To" option is not available for Discussions in my course. Students are not able to reply to each others' posts. How do I enable this functionality?

There was an update over the summer, listed here: Disallow Threaded Replies option in Discussions. When you go in to edit the discussion, do you see the option for "Disallow Threaded Replies" and if you can, are you able to uncheck it?

Go to the Discussion, click the button in the upper right to Edit it. Scroll down to the Options for the discussion under the text area. You should see something there for threaded replies.

As Jeff mentioned you will want to make sure you have unchecked "disable threaded replies".
