Enroll students with no unique email address

Hello,
Our organization uses Canvas to provide training courses for our industry. We are finding that some factory workers that could benefit from these training courses do not have personal emails or unique corporate emails to use when enrolling. Is there a way to enroll students with not using an unique email address. (I could use one general HR email for the group of students, but the email would not be unique to each student).

Hi @BethHolcomb,
It is my understanding that Canvas requires an email address for every user account. I believe the main reason is because of notifications being sent as emails.
From my quick testing, the email address (unlike a login) does not have to be unique. This means, in theory, you could create an email address (either a free one or one from your organization, within your organization would be my recommendation so your organization has more control over it) and add/assign that email address to all of those user accounts.
