Enrolment Numbers by Course

Hi, is there a way of running a basic report which would show me every course on my platform, and the number of enrolments on each course? Preferably active users, but I'm not overly bothered about that if it's not possible. 

So one column showing the course name, and a corresponding column showing the number of users on that course (active users if possible).

@Fraser_UK I'd recommend going to the Reports tab in Account Settings. You can use the Provisioning report to get a CSV of all enrollments in all terms or a selected term. You can take that CSV to Excel or some other program to make a pivot table showing how many users with each role are in each course or section.

The active users limitation will require you to join the enrollments report to another report. Depending on how you define active users, the Last Enrollment Activity or Zero Activity report might be best.

Hi @Fraser_UK,

In addition to the method @stimme mentioned, you could try using the Admin Analytics feature of Canvas. The very first box (course status) will give you a download if the info you're looking for if you click on one of the course status bars (you may want to do it for published with activity and published without activity).
