Exporting canvas course

Hello,

I am an instructor and I have created several courses on Canvas for my classes. Can I export those courses on my computer to use them later at another institution that uses Canvas?

Hi @JessicaParker12 ...

Technically, yes, you can do this.  However, you might want to check with the school that has the content in Canvas already to see if they would allow you to move that content over to the other school.  I'm not sure if there would be any issues or concerns from your school in doing something like this...so it might not be a bad idea to double-check just to be sure.  If all has been approved, then there are a couple Guides that you can use:

The first link allows you to export your entire course from school's Canvas environment where you content currently lives.  The second link tells you how to import that exported content into the other school's Canvas environment.
