FACULTY ? : Disallow students from taking quiz after due date BUT allow them to see the correct answers?

I am a faculty member.  I know how to make the quiz unavailable for taking after the due date, but I stil want the students to be able to see their answers and the correct answers.  Making the quiz unavailable after the due date means they can't see anything regarding the quiz - t is completely closed.  If I keep the quiz available, they sometimes continue to take it after the due date, even after I've given them a 0 as a grade if they didn't do it by the due date.  How can I prevent them from taking it after the due date while still allowing them to see the correct answers?  Thank you.

You could set the number of attempts to 1, this would prevent students who do complete the quiz from attempting it a second time. 

For students who don't attempt it at all, you could try to change the attempt to zero after the due date, or you could add a password to the quiz.  I realize that's not ideal, but it is the only solutions I know.

Thanks! Wow I can't believe there's not a good way to do this. I will still want my students who didn't take the quiz to see the correct answers to use as a study guide for the exam though.

The only way to explicitly show your students the correct answers of a quiz without them taking it, is to provide it to them via a screenshot. You can do so either after taking it in student view and seeing the results, a file you made yourself of the correct answers, or from the teacher side of things under edit. Unfortunately there is no built in feature to show students correct answers to quizzes they didn't take. Hopefully this helps.

Same issue. I am surprised there is not a viable solution to this. I ended up making a second copy of the quiz as a practice quiz. The caveat is they have to take the quiz again to see the correct answers. Not really a bad thing, but not what I had hoped for.
