File Name Issue: .csv.csv

Wondering if anyone can confirm this glitch. I inadvertently named a file "name.csv.csv" and did a SIS import with it. Canvas said it was successful, but the data didn't get imported.

First off, I am sorry your question has gone for a while without an answer.
That is interesting to hear. I know that when importing to the grade book, there are limitations as to what assignments can be named, but that's pertaining to headers and not the file name itself.
I tested in my own instance with my file named exactly as you mentioned yours was. My data was imported and the content was created. I suspect that maybe your file was attempting to edit data that had their sticky fields changed via the UI. If something were manually deleted and you tried to edit it with a SIS import without choosing the option to override UI changes, then no changes would occur, despite the success notification.
