Hiding grades and commentary until a pre-determined time

I want to hide my grades and commentary for all students on each assignment and then release the grades and commentary to all of them simultaneously at a time I have determined. How do I do that?

Hi @MarkWallace ...

You should be able to use grade posting policies in your Gradebook to accomplish what you want.  Here are some Guides that will be of help to you:

I just re-read your question, and you had also asked if you could set a pre-determined time that Canvas would release assignment grades.  For clarification, I don't believe that is possible.  But, you can manually release grades by following the instructions I've provided in the Guides above.  Sorry for not catching that sooner...but I hope this extra bit of info will be helpful to you.

Thank you very much. I've been doing some searching of the guides and the site and had reached the conclusion that you're putting forward here. It's very workable, and it helps me to know that there's not some other solution that I'm looking for, so I greatly appreciate your follow-up.
