I'm making a quiz with multiple answers and each answer will be worth a point. When my students are taking a quiz they can see the total points each question is worth so it lets them know how many answers to pick. Is the any way to delete that point total at the right top corner of each question?

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no option to hide the point values for each question. By your description of points on the top right, I assume you are using Classic Quizzes. If you have New Quizzes available at your institution, I recommend using New Quizzes for your purpose. When using Multiple Answers type questions in New Quizzes you can give a single point for each question and allow for partial credit depending on their response.

Again, this is another place where Canvas is woeful. You should be able to hide the points for a True/False question if students get multiple attempts. They should be able to see their total point score without seeing the individual point values.
Hi @hagedorn,
@As @masantos mentioned a few years ago, you can configure New Quizzes in Canvas to do exactly what you'd like. If your school/institution hasn't made New Quizzes available yet, you may want to talk to your Canvas team there about that. New Quizzes is Instructure's next generation quizzing engine for Canvas, and where all development work is happening at this point. Classic quizzes are still around for people who would like to use them, but there basically won't be any new features or changes happening to classic quizzes at this point as far as I know.
I hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for the response. We do have new quizzes installed, but it doesn't seem to help. What you can't do is, if students can retake a quiz, for them to see their total score without seeing the score on individual parts. So if you have a true/false question, if the quiz shows that they got 90/100, it will also show whether or not they got the true/false part correct.
This isn't exactly what the original poster asked but it's the same type of request. To be able to please hide the individual points/scores of a question.
Thanks!
Hi @hagedorn,
If you set up your New Quiz settings as shown in the screenshot here, it should do exactly what you'd like (just show the total points earned/possible without showing anything about a specific question).

Hi, I appreciate the suggestion. This one hadn't occurred to me. My situation is that I allow students to retake questions and since there is a lot they have to type in, I want them to be able to see the questions and their previous answers. So I do want them to be able to see the questions and their answers, without seeing the grades on individual problems. But this would let the students see their overall grades, so that is helpful to know.
