How do I enter grade in gradebook? I am new to Canvas.

I am new to canvas. When I try to type a grade in the gradebook next to the name, it won't let me enter a grade. There is a drop down menu that says 0/0. How do I enter a grade like 75?

It looks like you have one essay worth 100 points in your course and reflected in your gradebook.  I see that you have entered scores for many of the students.  Did you end up figuring out what you needed to do?
