How do I make announcements viewable for my classes?

Hello there,  @e05385  Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thank you for posting your question.  You'll need to make sure that your "Announcements" button in your course navigation is also enabled in your course.  Check out this Guide for instructions on how to do this: How do I manage Course Navigation links?.  As a side note, you can also enable some of your announcements at the top of your course "Home" page if you want.  Check out this Guide: How do I show recent announcements in the Course Home Page?.

Hi  @e05385  Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for your question. 

Announcements are a very handy tool. Once you have created an announcement then everyone in your class will be given access to it. It's important to keep in mind that everyone has the capability to turn off notifications for all sorts of things in canvas, Announcements is one of them. You might want to remind them about having Announcements turned on still. Here's a guide for you to share with them:
