How do I post announcements on the home page?

I cannot remember how to get my announcements to post at the top of my home page.  Please help!

Hi @CraigStephenson,

Thats found in your course settings menu, all the way on the bottom under the "more options" link. You'll find the "Show recent announcements on Course home page" option which you can enable there, and then you'll be able to choose how many announcements to show.  If needed, you can review the  How do I show recent announcements in the Course H... - Instructure Community  guide for this.

This is exactly why I keep advocating for Instructure to do something with all of the important settings hidden under the tiny blue letters more options in Course Settings. Clearly, whoever set up more options was just plain lazy and couldn't come up with a better solution.

By now, the Canvas Development Team should be able to figure out a way to move this setting to Announcements, where it belongs.
