How do you unfavorite or favorite a course in inbox?

I do not see how to favorite or unfavorite courses but the Canvas community information regarding filtering emails refers to the Favorites as "courses you have favorited" so I assume there is a way to do that. Several of my old courses are in my favorites, but I never put them there.

Then, click on the "Star" icon next to each course to mark it as a favourite (orange) or unfavorite it (blank/white).

Thanks so much. Good to know about this - I have never even looked at Courses. I just use Dashboard. The only downside is that some of the classes that were on Dashboard now aren't there because once I unfavorited them, I can't re-favorite them because they aren't current courses. I still refer to them and import content. But no big deal - I know where to find them.

Yup, that is correct.  Only "active" courses can be marked with a star so that they show up on your Canvas Dashboard.  And, as you might have seen, up to 20 courses will show on your Dashboard if you do not favorite any courses on your "All Courses" screen.
