How to Add Badges to Canvas LMS - No Setting

I've created a digital badge already in Canvas Badges, as well as issuers. When I go to assign my badge to a course in Canvas LMS - there is no badge option in the navigation menu. I went to the setting on the left hand side, selected the Navigation tab and scrolled down looking for a hidden Badges button...doesn't exist.

How do I add Badges as an option?

Hi @AlyssaAviles  -- Badges (by Badgr) is an LTI tool that would need to be added by your district as an integration.  However, I have heard that that that LTI will be deprecated this summer.

Hi,

As mentioned by @Hildi_Pardo, depending on your institution settings, you Canvas admin will be needed to help install the LTI.  However, you should still be able to install the free version of "Credentials", no longer referred to as Badges, in your instance by following these steps:  How do I install the Canvas Credentials LTI in Can... - Instructure Community - 530202  The paid version of credentials will give you and your institution more features if you chose to that route in the future.
