How to migrate question banks to "This Course" in New Quizzes?

I need to know how I can migrate the question banks so that they are inside the course and not as an external bank that can be shared with the quiz. In Classic Quizzes the bank could be at the administrative account level, but it could be copied and put into a specific course. In New Quizzes, what the share option does is create a shortcut but the bank stays at "All Banks". I need it to be in "This Course", but every time I try to load a bank to that section, it goes straight to "All Banks".

Is there a way to copy them directly to "This Course" other than a shortcut to the original bank?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with item banks in new quizzes.  Item banks  that have been  sent to the course and are  used in quizzes should be under "this course" more specifically: 

You can also select between viewing All Banks (question banks shared with the user, course, and institution), Institution Banks (question banks shared with your institution), and Banks Shared to this Course (question banks shared with the course).

If you have issues  getting the item banks to load, we would likely need more specifics like which quiz, how do you import it or create it, etc. Additionally, you could contact Canvas Support directly to pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution:
