You didn't say where the quiz was coming from and the links above are for when it is an external source. Generally, you need to export the quiz as a QTI file.
If it is from another Canvas course, then this lesson may help: How do I copy content from another Canvas course using the Course Import tool?
There are other tools, such as Respondus, that can import quizzes into Canvas.
If the above links don't help, you may need to supply more specifics about what you're trying to import.
