Importing Groups and Outcomes - Outcome group with canvas id not found

I am working on importing groups and outcomes. I have done this successfully many times, but every now and then I get the message: Outcome group with canvas id not found. What does this mean? I'm doing everything exactly the same.

Thanks for posting this in the global Instructure Community!
Without being able to take a look at the specific CSV or JSON file you are importing, I would not be able to confidently say what is causing that error message to be presented.
However, it sounds like there might be something going on with the formatting of the file you are importing.
- Do you know if you are using the Classic Outcomes interface? Or the new Improved outcomes management interface?
- Does your vendor_guid possibly contain a colon in the file you are attempting to import? The reason I ask is because the Canvas admin guide HERE lists that "In new outcomes, the vendor_guid field must not contain a colon.
