I have a student who has been using our school email (google account) to log in all year, but we do not use the log in with google button due to not knowing how to change the displayed name for grading (until now I figured that out).
Now the student clicked log in with google on accident and that seems to have overridden his account he was using all year and he cannot get in and see any of my courses. He can no longer log in with his id from before and password, but can log in with the google G, but when he does this he is not enrolled in my class.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I apologize that you are having trouble with one of your students accounts.
It sounds like the student may have accidentally created a new canvas account or something when they clicked on the login with Google button. Have you brought this issue to your school's Canvas admin yet? If not, it might be best to have them look into this. They can always look to see if a new account was created for the student, which would explain why they are unable to see any of their courses when they login.
