Hi Gregory,
Many thanks for your reply. I feel I am still on a bit of a learning curve so please forgive my follow-up question. It is probably more a reflection of my understanding of how things work.
My understanding is that the date information shown on the Gradebook History page is the date and time when the grade was awarded or changed. So for example an individual entry on the page might report that a grade of 66% was awarded to Student X by Grader Y for assignment Z on the 15th June 2022 at 14:32. So the date and time is when the Grade was awarded. Obviously, if the course is using an automatic Grade Posting Policy, this date and time will also be when the student was able to access their grade and feedback.
What I am interested in, is determining when grades are posted to students when a manual Grade Posting Policy is used. So, for example, over a two week period a single teacher marks 100 coursework submissions in SpeedGrader. The course is using a manual grade posting policy. After completing all the grading, the work is then moderated. Finally, when all the grading, moderation and other assessment processes are completed, the teacher goes into Grades, and then selects 'Post Grades' from the column heading menu for the specific assignment. Is this date and time, the time the teacher clicks on 'Post Grades' recorded anywhere? So not the date and time the grade was awarded, which is what I think is shown on the Gradebook History page, but the date and time that the teacher posts the grades when a manual grade posting policy is being used.
Does this make sense? Or am I totally wrong about what information is shown on the Gradebook history page? I'm sorry if I am missing something very obvious and any guidance will be warmly received.
Steve
