Mastery Path Settings with Conditions

We have set up a Mastery Path for students. The pre-test is marked as required to submit, but if they score 90%, they may move on the the next module. The modules are each setup so that the module before is a prerequisite.

The path we created is set to require students to complete in sequential order, complete all the items. We have marked the pre-test as submit (conditional upon score), post-test as score 90%, and a final page that must be viewed to let them know that they may move on to the next module.

My question, if I decide to go back and make each item in the module required, will it hinder students who may not have that item in their path or does the all items just include the ones included on their assigned path?

Great Question @DeloraIdehenre!

If the conditional content to be released is assigned to Mastery Paths, it is technically not assigned to any student initially.  Once the initial assessment has been completed, only the conditional content that has been released to a student has been assigned to that student. None of the conditional content for the other paths has been assigned to them.  Therefore, the requirements set to the conditional content in the other paths do not apply to the students where that content is not assigned to them.   Students will only need to meet the requirements for the content that has been assigned to them to complete the module and satisfy the prerequisite to be able to move on to the next module.

Hope this makes sense.
