I am trying to create a course with a pathway that students can only advance if they meet the mastery criteria of the previous assignments. I see that there are mastery paths that can direct students to the next assignment based on their scores. I was trying to set it up so that if they did not reach the mastery criteria, they would automatically be directed to retake the quiz. While I can send students to the next lesson in the path, I cannot send them to the same assignment again. Is there a way to do so, or a workaround?
It would also be ideal if once they are redirected to take the quiz again, if it pulled out different questions from the test bank (without having to create multiple quizzes).
Any help would be much appreciated!

You could make a copy of the quiz and put it in the path as "Attempt #2".
If you are using item banks, it will randomly select questions from the bank so they would hopefully get different questions but there is unfortunately no way to guarantee that.
Have you checked out the Build on Last Attempt feature? This would allow students to retake just the questions they missed. Could be a different option for you.
