No create assignment option

I Can't create or edit an assignment, I don't see the option.

Hi @CamiloEnriqueR,

 I can think of two possibilities as to why you wouldn't be able to create an assignment:

1. Your role in the course doesn't allow assignments to be created.  Are you listed as a teacher for that course on the People page, or some other role?
2. The course has concluded and is now in a read-only type state.  Is this a current course, or one form the past?

Let us know if either of the above scenarios may be what's happening for you.  If those don't seem like it, perhaps someone else will have some additional ideas.

Yes,  I'm listed as a teacher and the course has not concluded yet.

I wonder if there is a permission setting that your school's Canvas administrator(s) configured that isn't allowing you to create/edit assignments?  I would suggest you have a conversation with your school's Canvas admin or someone from their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department about this to see what they can tell you.  Maybe they can give you a different role in the course so that you can start creating those assignments.  Good luck!
