@BrandonSavona and @itsmedannie ...
You may need to provide us with additional information...as most of us here in the Canvas Community cannot access your school's Canvas environment. (We only have access to our own.) Are you students? Are you instructors? In either case, are you looking for the courses that you are taking or teaching? If so, then those kinds of questions are typically addressed with your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning department. Again, we wouldn't be able to help with getting access to your courses.
@itsmedannie ... I am not sure if any of these pages on your school's website will be of help:
- NVC : Instructure Canvas | Alamo Colleges
- SAC : Experience SAC : Current Students : Student Resources : Canvas for Students | Alamo Colleges
- SAC : Experience SAC : Current Students : Student Resources : Canvas for Students : Canvas FAQ for S...
- SAC : Experience SAC : Current Students : Student Resources : Canvas for Students : Instructure/Canv...
- NVC : Distance Learning Contacts | Alamo Colleges
@BrandonSavona ... I found this page which has some contact information for you: Canvas | (psu.edu)
Hopefully these resources will be helpful for both of you. Good luck in your communications with folks at your schools.

I get to the point that when I go into canvas and I get the grey outlines of the classes I have but they won't turn into the color boxes that I can go into to see the information about the class

Hello @AlyBurger ...
Sorry to hear that you are having some issues with getting access to your courses in your school's Canvas environment. Unfortunately, I've seen similar postings, and I've not been able to pinpoint a specific cause. With that in mind, here are some suggestions for you to try:
- Make sure that your web browser is up-to-date. Also, you might try using a different browser such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You might want to also look at this Guide: What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?
- Clear your browser history/cache files. Then, shut down your browser and re-start it. Log in to Canvas again to see if anything has changed.
- Try contacting staff at Ferris State University. I browser Ferris' website, and I found a page that has some good contact information for you from their eLearning department: Learning Technology Support for Students (ferris.edu).
- Contact the Canvas Help Desk staff. They may have some additional recommendations for you to try.
I hope this will be of help to you! Sing out if you have any other questions...thanks!
