Notifications for replies to Discussion Posts and Assessment comments

Student's generally do not seem to engage or respond to comments/replies given to them on Discussion posts or Assessment/quiz comments, so I am unsure if they are even seeing this feedback. 

It would be great to know that they are notified when these occasions occur.

If you have not already I would recommend that you review the three guides below:

You can then encourage your students to look at their notifications settings (possibly sharing these guides with them) and set them to either receive notifications immediately or on a daily basis for discussions.
