I have asked my county administrators and have reached out to CANVAS with no help. When I export files and import them into a course, many of the assignments display "page doesn't exist" when clicked on. I was told I needed a SCORM app installed. Did that last year and still can't get them to work. No one seems to have an answer. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi @WilliamHauser,
We'll need some more info around this question to give an accurate answer. Where are you exporting the files from (and how are you doing that)? How are you importing them into Canvas? Even if you're just going from one Canvas course to another, i could be possible that one course has certain external tools (like SCORM) available and another one does not. If you can give us more info, we can try to give some guidance, but if it is an external tool issue, your local administrators may need to be involved to make the required tools more broadly available in all courses.
Hope to hear back form you soon!

Ok. So, I have always downloaded the files (zip folder) and imported them into CANVAS. Everything has always worked fine except when these newer modules incorporated this new format. I know you need SCORM. I enabled SCORM last year and talked to the county about it. SCORM is on the left column tabs near the bottom, so I know that is right. And yes, you have to do it for all courses. But, as you can see in the pictures, it does not work! You click on it and it says "open in new window". I do, then the "page not found" pops up.
Hi @WilliamHauser,
Are you following the steps outlined in the How do I import SCORM files as an assignment? - Instructure Community guide? We don't have SCORM enabled at my institution for multiple reasons, so I may not be able to be much more help at this point. I wanted to make sure you're following the steps in that guide, because I know things have to be done in a very specific way for SCORM to function.
I'm hoping someone more familiar with SCORM may respond to this thread as well though to confirm things.
