Privacy setting boxes cannot uncheck

Is there a reason why a student may not be able to uncheck the privacy boxes? They are grayed out.

Off the top of my head, I'm not recalling where there might be "privacy" check-boxes in Canvas.  Could you please help identify where these check-boxes might be so that we can help further?  Thanks!

Please disregard this. It was on Portfolium site and not related.
