Question on multiple answers on a quiz and automatic responses

I am making a quiz question with multiple answers. Is there a way for an automatic response statement to appear when a student clicks on answer?

Do you mean before the student submits the quiz, giving them a chance to try again?

If that's what you want, and I'm not sure it is, you can do that with some html:

To get that, when editing the options, select the pen on the right of the option (visible when hovering it) to be able to edit in the rich content editor:

Then you can edit the html in the rich content editor and add <details> and <summary> tags

Thanks for responding. I meant while the students are currently answering a question and when they are clicking on an answer, an automatic response will show up.

I think what I suggested does what you seem to be asking.

If the student click on the text of the option, an automatic response shows up. They can click again to make the response disappear.

It works similar to the following:

Option 1 (click here)

This is what shows up if you click on option 1

Option 2 (click here)

This is what shows up if you click on option 2

What it doesn't do is record that the student clicked in that option. Did you want to do that too? For that, the student needs to submit the quiz, and it can be done following the guide in this guide: Enter Feedback Text - How do I create a Multiple Answers quiz question?
