Quizzes have significant delay before unlocking

Our students are required to complete a lesson that uses a SCORM gradebook pass back. The lesson must be completed before the quiz unlocks. Up until last week, this took under a minute. Recently, however, we have had many students complain that their quizzes will not unlock. There seems to be a 5-10 minute delay between completing a lesson and the quiz unlocking. The gradebook pass back apppears to be functioning properly. It is just that the quiz is not unlocking quickly enough. Our students are experiencing frustration because they cannot complete their assignments in a timely manner. Is anyone else experiencing something similar? Any advice on how to remedy the situation?

EDIT 8/23/2024: Quizzes are now taking 5-6 HOURS to unlock during prime hours.

There have been a few SCORM incidents that have been resolved since you posted your question. If you are still experiencing challenges with the tool, please reach out to Canvas Support so one agents can take a closer look and diagnose the issue.
