Record/Upload Media Not Working

I've tried recording an audio submission over ten times now. I record, name the media, click save media, and nothing happens. I've tried logging out and logging back in, restarting chrome, and clearing cache. I also tried uploading an audio recording and it doesn't want to accept that either. I don't get any error message about the professor or file size errors.

This sounds like a frustrating issue.  The only thing I could think it to try a different browser or another machine, if possible.  I would reach out to the helpdesk and let them know PC or Mac, the OS, the page/course you are uploading to, are you using Canvas Studio, etc.  If you use Studio to upload and share content, often the direct URL is something like: https://[your institution URL].instructuremedia.com/collections/use.  Likely that institution URL is the same as what is before the .instructure.com part of the Canvas URL.
